Our Beliefs

We believe that the church is a place for everyone, anyone to come, learn and grow spiritually in faith and love. We grow together spiritually as disciples of Christ, together with the Living Word. All are welcome to join us in a time of worship and fellowship.

Our History

As a group of Christians, we have our roots in the Churches of Christ which grew out of the American Restoration Movement. Churches of Christ have approximately 2,000,000 members throughout the world, most of whom are in the United States. In Singapore, we have several Churches of Christ.

As a local church, Bedok Church of Christ has existed since October 1980. After a year of praying and planning, a group of young Christians students started what was originally known as the Siglap Church of Christ. They met in a small corner terrace house at Jalan Tua Kong, located in the eastern part of Singapore. The church met briefly in two other locations before being blessed with our present church building at Bedok Reservoir Road in September 1985, and we have been here ever since.
